The World Paediatric Project (WPP) Urology Mission is conducting twenty surgeries this week on children at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

On Sunday, October 14, 2018, a urology clinic was held for children up to the age of 21 years old, who have disorders of the urinary system.

WPP Director for the Eastern Caribbean – Jacqueline Brown-King told WEFM News the medical team conducted assessments on 60 children, 21 of them from countries including Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Lucia.

Meanwhile, Paediatric Urologist Dr. Douglas Coplen who is leading the Urology Mission here said they are performing about five surgeries each day.
