The Unity Labour Party (ULP) candidate for South Leeward, Jomo Thomas’ campaign office located at Chauncey was damaged by fire on the weekend.
Thomas who is the Speaker of the House of Assembly told I-Witness News, that he was asleep when he received a call around 12:30am on Saturday saying the office was on fire. He said “it is a rather unnerving development.”
Speaking at a Press Conference this morning, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves condemned the incident, which he described as being “highly suspicious.”
