A tropical wave located over the Central Atlantic is currently affecting St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

According to a release by the SVG Met Office – the wave has upgraded to tropical depression number ten.

The Met Office said unstable conditions are forecast to be across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the rest of today and tomorrow.

Residents near rivers and streams and in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides, should remain alert.

Thursday is forecast to be dry and hot.

The Met Services says it will continue to monitor the progress of the system – as it tracks north-westward across the Atlantic.
