Approximately 600 persons have so far updated their registration and so have ensured that their names will not be excluded from the Voters’ List.

Supervisor of Elections, Sylvia Findlay said these 601 persons would have updated their registration during the first fifteen days, since the Electoral Office on Friday, June 26th, 2015 publicized a List of 23,702 persons who stand to be excluded from the Voters’ List.

These individuals have been given thirty days in which to update their voter registration, or to object to their names being excluded from the Voters’ List.  The 30–day period ends on Monday, July 27th, 2015.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Office is urging all other persons whose names appear on the List, especially those resident here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines or nationals visiting this country at this time, to update their registration before July 27th, 2015.

Such persons are advised to call or visit the Electoral Office on Bay Street.
