Police have arrested and charged several persons for theft.

Among the accused are Jason John, an 18 year old unemployed of Murray’s Village, who on May 2, 2018 at 10:00 am at Kingstown, stole one Caro White Lighting Beauty Cream valued at EC$60.

The cream was the property of Pamela Knights, a 66 year old Vendor of Cane Garden.

Winfield Sam, a 34 year old Labourer of Lower Questelles was charged for having had in his possession items suspected of being stolen or unlawfully obtained.

According to Police, on April 30, 2018 at 12:20 pm at Clare Valley, Sam was met with five Speaker Boxes, two Electronic Speakers and four Tweeters, suspected by the police to be stolen or unlawfully obtained.

Also arrested and charged was Arnold Dasent, a 42 year old Labourer of Belmont, who on December 18, 2017 at 5:30pm at Belmont, stole one black and white ram goat valued EC$200 and one brown and white ewe goat valued EC$400, the property of Richard Williams, a 52 year old Farmer of Belmont.

The other accused is Connell Jackson, a 56 year old Farmer of Mesopotamia, who on May 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at Belair, stole a quantity of mangoes valued EC$70, the property of Marcus Richards, a 47 year old Agriculture Officer of Belmont.

All of the accused were expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court yesterday May 3, 2018.
