Eighty nine Junior Savers were rewarded on Thursday with a 7 inch Amazon Fire Tablet each, for successfully participating in and completing the Junior Savers Challenge, organized by the Police Cooperative Credit Union Limited (PCCU).

The children were presented with their awards at the second Junior Savers Challenge Award Ceremony held at the Police Canteen.

In her remarks at the ceremony, Manager of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Cooperative Credit Union, Seymonde Mulcaire said the Junior Savers Challenge was held for 52 weeks, over the period January 2nd to December 31st 2015, and started out with 122 savers but only 89 completed the challenge.

She noted that at the end of the challenge each child had saved approximately $1,378.

Meanwhile, President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Cooperative Credit Union, Junior Simmons congratulated the awardees and urged them to use their tablets wisely.
