Persons are being urged to go out this Sunday July 1, 2018 and support the various community and school based bands that will be participating in this year’s Junior Pan Fest.
Oneka Morgan, President of the Youlou Pan Movement says 13 bands have so far confirmed their participation in the VINLEC Junior Pan Fest that takes place at Victoria Park from 3:00pm on Sunday.
Ms. Morgan said that this year, an innovation has been added to the Junior Panorama, in the form of an activity dubbed “Junior Fete World.”
Meanwhile, Tamara Job-Sprott, Communications Officer at the St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC), which is the sponsor of Junior Pan Fest, is encouraging youngsters to get involved in playing the steel pan not only at carnival time, but other times of the year as well.
Mrs. Job-Sprott is encouraging persons to turn out in their numbers for Sunday’s Junior Pan Fest.
