The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has provided new and revised CSEC and CAPE syllabuses for which teaching starts in September 2015, as well as a revised English syllabus for which teaching starts in September 2016.
Institutions offering English, Geography, Home Economics, Industrial Technology, Integrated Science and Technical Drawing should make note of the effective dates of the first examinations and be guided accordingly:
English – Teaching starts in September 2016, effective for
examinations from May-June 2018
Geography – Teaching starts in September 2015, effective for
examinations from May-June 2017
Home Economics – Teaching starts in September 2015, effective
for examinations from May-June 2017
Industrial Technology – Teaching starts in September 2015,
effective for examinations from May-June 2017
Integrated Science – Teaching starts in September 2015, effective
for examinations from May-June 2017
Technical Drawing – Teaching starts in September 2015, effective
for examinations from May-June 2017
