The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) is warning residents to refrain from being complacent during the 2019 Atlantic Hurricane season.

The warning came from Director of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), Michelle Forbes, who says it is imperative that persons remain vigilant.

Ms. Forbes, who makes a special appeal to residents who live in low-lying areas to be aware of the dangers around them, says it is important that emergency supplies are prepared.

The 2019 Atlantic Hurricane Season started on June 1st and will end on November 30th.
