A call has been made for persons here, to practice good kidney health.

The call was made by Ward Manager attached to the Georgetown Modern Medical Complex, Sister Agatha Gittens-Stay as she delivered remarks at a Rally on March 13, hosted by the complex staff, in collaboration with the Ministry of health, on the Occasion of World Kidney Day, observed annually on March 14th.

Sister Gittens-Stay who said patients have been receiving quality health care at the complex noted that it is imperative for persons take care of their bodies.

Sister Gittens-Stay said the aim of World Kidney Day is to bring about an awareness of the significance of the Kidneys.

World Kidney Day was held under the theme – “Kidney Health for Everyone, everywhere”.
