The Ministry of Transport, Works, Urban Development and Local Government is carrying out works on the Swamp Gut Road in Layou between the Leeward Highway and the Swamp Gut Bridge.
The Ministry says that to facilitate excavation, concrete casting and other works being carried out by CF Sandy and Sons Construction Company Limited, 600 feet of road extending from the bridge towards the Leeward Highway will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for three months starting today Monday November 9th, 2015.
The General Public is asked to exercise caution and follow indications given by the Contractor or Road Supervisor representing the ministry of Transport and Works.
