Minister of Agriculture Saboto Caesar – is currently in the Bahamas providing support in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.
Caesar paid visits to affected communities along with Micheal Pintard, Bahamas Minister of Agriculture.
He said St. Vincent and the Grenadines has developed a deep history in providing support to the Caribbean region.
Minister Caesar reiterated the Government’s commitment in supporting recovery and reconstruction efforts in the Bahamas – adding that the Government has in the past assisted Grenada following the aftermath of hurricane Ivan, as well as the operation Recovery and Reconstruction’ of several other countries, including Anguilla, BVI and Dominica, after they were hit by hurricanes Maria and Irma.
He further said the Caribbean is one region and solidarity in times of a disaster is the least the Government through the Ministry can do.
