The Inland Revenue department has extended the deadline for the filing of income tax returns to Saturday March 30th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon to accommodate individuals and businesses, who will miss the March 29th deadline, to file their income tax returns.

Comptroller at the Inland Revenue Department, Mr. Kelvin Pompey told WEFM News that the department will be putting additional resources in place to help with the process.

Mr. Pompey said motorists with 3 as the last digit on their licence plate along with persons with March birthdays must renew their driver’s license.

The Inland Revenue controller further declared that employees who have not yet received their Tax Deduction Slip from their employers should request it.
