The Heads of Social Security Agencies and Senior Officials from CARICOM Member States will gather in St. Vincent and the Grenadines this week for a high level training session.

The training will be hosted by the National Insurance Services (NIS) and would focus on the CARICOM Social Security Agreement (CASS).

The overall purpose of the training is to provide Member States with the necessary technical capacity to effectively operate the CARICOM Social Security Agreement.

The training session is slated for Wednesday March 16th and Thursday March 17th at the NIS Conference Room from nine each morning, and will be facilitated by Dr. Olivia Smith, the Deputy Program Manager, in charge of Free Movement and Labour, at the CSME Unit; and Sandra Bart, Legal Officer, at the CARICOM Secretariat.
