Alicia Peters, a 35 year old Domestic of Brighton have been arrested and charged for Theft.

According to Police investigations, between 8:00pm on May 30, 2018 and 11:00am on May 31, 2018 at Lower Bay Street, Kingstown, Peters stole EC$3,509 in cash, the property of the National Lotteries Authority.

She is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charge.

Police have also arrested and charged Sheldon Samuel, a 46 year old Farmer and Jamello Samuel a 23 year old Farmer both of Vermont for Handling Stolen Goods.

According to investigations, between 6:30am and 9:30am on June 22, 2018 at Vermont, the accused knowing or believing that a quantity of items to be stolen goods, dishonestly obtained same for their own benefit.

The items are suspected to have been stolen from the Israel Baptiste Church.

The accused men appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court June 25, 2018 to answer the charges and the matter was adjourned to a later date for trial. The men are currently out on bail.

Meanwhile, Police are investigating a report of Burglary made by Shirley James, a 66 year old Entrepreneur of Barrouallie.

According to reports, between 7:20pm on June 20, 2018 and 6:30am on June 21, 2018 at Barrouallie, an unknown person or persons entered the storeroom of Shirley James and stole a quantity of items valued EC$2,937.

Police are asking anyone with information that will assist in this case to contact the Barrouallie Police Station at 1-784-458-7329.
