West Indies Women trounced Pakistan Women by six wickets in the final One-Day International on Saturday night to clinch the four-match series, 3-1, and join Australia at the top of the ICC Women’s Championship on 16 points.

Chasing a modest 183 for victory at the Beausejour Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia, the hosts cantered home in the 43rd over with captain, Stafanie Taylor stroking an unbeaten 87 from 107 deliveries, to pick up the Player-of-the-Match ward.

Meanwhile, Rangana Herath picked up 4 wickets while spin partner Milinda Siriwardana took 3 as Sri Lanka defeated West Indies by 72 runs on the fifth day of the second and final test today to win the series 2-NIL.

West Indies who lost the first test in Galle by an innings and six runs, were chasing 244 for victory today but were bowled out for 171, half-hour before tea.
