West Indies Women have remained fifth in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) women’s team rankings but have dropped four points, following their wretched run at the recent 50-over World Cup in England.

The Windies Women were on 101 points behind new table leaders England who gained three points to overtake Australia at the top.

India remained fourth but jumped three points to 116 to close in on third spot held by New Zealand on 118 points.

The Caribbean side will launch their bid for direct qualification for the 2021 World Cup when they take on Sri Lanka Women in a three-match One Day International (ODI) series in Trinidad and Tobago from October 11-15.
