WE FM Radio will be holding its 6th Annual Youth Summer Reading Challenge this year.

The Reading Challenge which commences from Monday August 5th targets young people between the ages of 12 to 15.

It also seeks to expose the teens to training in Fluency, Confidence, Voice and Diction, as well as to expose them to careers in the Media.

The 8 finalists who were selected to compete are Shellisa Cruickshank of the Barrouallie Secondary School; Shine Anthony of the St. Vincent Grammar School; Jaydealeah Chambers of the Girls High School; Lafika Samuel of the Girls High School; Noah Johnson of the West St. George Secondary School; Antonio Charles of the Buccament Bay Secondary School; Tia Jacobs St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua.

This year’s competition is being held on the theme “Building Better Readers”.
