The annual Christmas concerts staged in several communities across St. Vincent and the Grenadines by the St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC) are scheduled to begin this weekend.
VINLEC Staff Choir will serenade patrons at the concerts that commence this Saturday November 25, in Bridgetown at the Bridge.
Communications Officer at VINLEC, Mrs. Tamara Job-Sprott said VINLEC has been staging these Free Christmas concerts for the past 15 years.
Mrs. Job-Sprott said the concerts will continue on Sunday November 26 at the Spring Village Hard Court, on Saturday December 2 at Questelles Hard Court, and then on Sunday December 10 in Kingstown at the Old Treasury Site.
She said each of the concerts will begin at 5:30pm.
She said that presently the choir is practicing very hard to ensure that the concerts are a success, and she is therefore encouraging members of the public to support the concerts.
