Retirees of the state owned power Company, VINLEC, will assemble on Friday October 16th for the 7th annual Retiree Appreciation Day.

This year’s activity will take the form of a tour to the Leeward side of the island with stops at two of the Company’s sites.

The first stop will be at the Lowman’s Bay Power Plant where the guests of honour will observe operations at the Plant, including the Solar PV farm. The attendees will also be given a tour of the refurbished Richmond Power Station.

In addition, the participants will be offered free blood pressure and blood sugar checks.

The Appreciation Day is part of an ongoing Retiree Appreciation Programme initiated by VINLEC as a demonstration of the Company’s gratitude to the retirees who have contributed to the development of the Company.
