The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Unit is appealing to young adults who have now completed their education and seeking gainful employment to be very careful about what they post on social media and the kinds of jobs they accept.
The Unit is also appealing to persons to be aware that not all jobs advertised are real.
The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Unit said in a statement that human trafficking affects men, women and children.
It said victims of Human Trafficking are promised a better life and good jobs, but are often forced into dangerous, illegal, abusive and terrible working conditions.
