The first batch of Vincentians, who travelled to Caracas, Venezuela for eye surgery, returned home this morning.

The group of 14 Vincentians had travelled to Caracas on Thursday July 9th, and spent about two weeks there receiving treatment for eye conditions such as cataract and pterygium.

Meanwhile, the second group of Vincentians was scheduled to depart the state today for Venezuela where they will undergo surgery to correct their vision.

This medical eye care for Vincentians is being provided under the Miracle Mission – Eye Care Programme, a partnership between the Governments of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Venezuela.
