The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce has announced a visa exemption for nationals of St. Vincent and the Grenadines entering the Russian Federation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup for the period June 2, 2018 to July 25, 2018.
For Vincentians to enter Russia without a visa, they must be in possession of a valid FAN Identification document (FAN ID) and a valid passport that does not expire before July 25, 2018.
This FAN ID can be obtained at www.FAN-ID.ru after the purchase of world cup tickets.
A release from the Agency for Public Information (API) said the FAN ID can either be electronic or laminated, both being equally valid for entering Russia.
Holders of electronic FAN IDs must obtain laminated FAN IDs from special distribution centres located in Russia in order to enter stadiums, use free transportation provided to football fans and to exit the country.
The FAN ID is valid for the period starting 10 days before the first 2018 FIFA World Cup match date and ending 10 days after the last 2018 FIFA World Cup match date.
