The Vincentian Chocolate Company, a subsidiary of the St. Vincent Cocoa Company has announced that this year’s Easter Egg for Her Majesty will be made using Vincentian chocolate.

This is following a recent visit to St. Vincent by Mr. Nick Crean, Co-Owner of Prestat Finest Chocolate, which was established in 1902 and is one of the world’s oldest and most famous chocolate brands, much loved by English royalty and nobility.

According to a release from the Cocoa Company, under the expert guidance of Mr. Andrew Hadley, Managing Director of the St. Vincent Cocoa Company, Mr. Crean visited cocoa farms in Vincy’s glorious mountains as well as the St. Vincent Cocoa Company’s world class cocoa handling facility at Dixon.

He said that on tasting Vincentian chocolate at the company’s factory, Mr. Crean declared that Vincentian chocolate is one of the most unique and rewarding chocolate covertures he has ever tasted.

Wilf Marriot, head of cocoa sales at the St. Vincent Cocoa Company and based in London arranged the delivery of chocolate to Prestat’s factory in London and said all of them at the St. Vincent Chocolate Company are incredibly excited and honoured that Prestat is using our chocolate to make Her Majesty’s Easter egg.

He added that all of their hard work seems to be paying off.
