The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Commerce in conjunction with the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is hosting a one week training program here.

The main objective of the program is to help implement, in a coordinated manner, the trade facilitation reforms, including the provisions of the Agreement on trade facilitation of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

The program consists of four modules of both face to face and online training such as understanding international standards, measuring and implementation trade facilitation, strengthening the National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFC) and establishing a trade facilitation road map and training of trainers.

Several persons are participating in this one week intensive professional training program from among the secretariats and members of the NFTC. Successful participants will be issued with a certificate of completion.

The training program is taking place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conference room from today November 26 to Friday November 30, 2018.
