Thousands of Vincentians turned out in their numbers last evening, to celebrate with the Unity Labour Party – on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, in the form of a Rally.
The Rally which was held at the decommissioned E.T Joshua airport featured speeches from past, present and future representatives.
Delivering remarks during the Rally, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves says the ULP has had unprecented success over the years.
During last night’s celebration, a tribute was paid to Sir Vincent Ian Beache, who was instrumental in the amalgamation of the movement for National Unity and the SVG Labour Party in 1994.
The ULP Administration formed Government in 2001 and has won four consecutive elections, with the most recent being the elections of December 2015.
Headlining the entertainment for the party’s celebration is Jamaican Entertainer “Busy Signal”.
