A star-studded Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team will start as favorites to lift the Cricket West Indies Super50 Cup and their first step towards that goal will be trying to overcome the current title-holders, Windward Islands Volcanoes, in the tournament opener at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain today, starting at 2 pm.
The Red Force is the most successful team in the 50-over competition, having copped the coveted crown 12 times.
Trinidad and Tobago’s most recent triumphs in the Cup came when they clinched back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016.
