Tourama Government School has emerged winners of the 2018 Primary Schools Performing Arts Festival (PRISPAF) for a third consecutive year.

PRISPAF 2018 was coordinated by Mr. Martin Quashie of the Department of Culture, and sponsored by the East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC).

The preliminaries were held from February 6 to March 7 and saw participation from a total of fifty-four schools. It was followed by the two GRAND DAYS on March 12 and 13.

Eighteen awards were presented to schools and individuals at an awards ceremony on Tuesday March 13, 2018.

Apart from being judged PRISPAF 2018 School of the Year, Tourama also copped the awards for Best Program, Best Dance Piece and Most Promising Female Senior.

Other awardees included Bequia Anglican-Most Discipline School and Best Skit; Best Prepared school-Pamelus Burke Primary(Byera Hill); Petersville Primary School-Best Instrumental Group and Most Promising Male Junior; Chateaubelair Methodist-Best Female Vocalist; Stubbs Government-Best Choir; Paget Farm Primary-Best Pan Solo; and Argyle Roman Catholic-Best Choral Speech.

Holly Browne of Belair Government was awarded Most Promising Female Junior.

The PRINCE and PRINCESS of PRISPAF 2018 went to John Graham of Bequia Anglican Primary and Kevisha Richardson of Biabou Methodist School, respectively.
