The Police on Wednesday January 3, 2018 arrested and charged three men for having in their possession firearm and controlled drugs.
Alwaky Stapleton, a 37 year old Technician of Rose Hall, Caldrick Chambers, a 26 year old Self-employed also of Rose Hall and Sydney Fortune, a 26 year old Farmer of Grenada, were apprehended by Police at about 11:00am on Wednesday at Rose Bank.
The men were discovered with one .380 revolver bearing an unknown serial number and one round of .380 ammunition without a license issued under the firearms act.
They were also found in possession of 16,344 grammes of Cannabis with intent to supply.
The trio were expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court yesterday to answer to the charges.
