The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teacher’s Union says it is carrying out an investigation, into the recent pornography involving a number of students and a teacher, at the Union Island Secondary School.

This according to president of the union, Wendy Bynoe, while speaking on Beyond the Story, an interactive programme aired weekdays on WE FM.

Ms. Bynoe said that the union is looking into the matter and will soon notify the public on its findings.

Last week, reports surfaced about a number of students allegedly exposed to pornographic content at the Union Island Secondary School.

A press release from the Union Island Secondary School PTA, dated January 9th 2019, said that the PTA executive is dismayed at the lack of response and inaction by the principal of the Union Island Secondary School, the Union Island Police and the Ministry of Education.
