The Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture will be taking steps this year – to measure the economic impact of Carnival and other major festivals on the economy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Word of this came from Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture the Hon. Cecil McKie, during a news conference hosted by the Carnival Development Corporation last week.
Minister McKie said that there has been a steady increase over the years, in the number of persons – arriving for the Carnival Period.
