A teenage male is among two persons who have been arrested and charged for entering the St. Hill Insurance Limited building as a trespasser, with intent to commit an offence.

Anthony Hope, a 16 year old Electrician of Belair and Jerroy Phillips, a 21 year old Fisherman of Redemption Sharpes gained entry into the building by forced entry through a door and burglar bar on the western side of the building.

The men were also charged for damage to property.

According to Police, the burglars damaged three commercial glass and aluminium doors valued at EC$1,245, one white HR Dome surveillance camera valued EC$750, five pad locks valued EC$750, one show window glass valued EC$750 and one iron gate valued EC$200, amounting to a total value of EC$3,645.

The Burglary occurred at Kingstown between 2:00am and 3:10am on Sunday February 18.

The men were expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrates Court yesterday to be arraigned.
