The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers Union (SVGTU) says it unequivocally condemns all reported acts of sexual violence in schools here.
The Union said in a statement dated March 14, 2018, that anecdotal data suggest that sexual violence and other forms of sexual misconduct is a growing concern in the nation’s schools.
The SVGTU is calling on the authorities to work with all stakeholders, including the Teachers Union, to develop appropriate protocols to effectively address this issue.
