The medical team of the Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) in Taiwan received warm welcome from Deputy Governor General, His Excellency Noel Clarke, and Minister of Health Luke Browne on July 30, 2018.

The team, accompanied by staff-members of the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), was much honoured to have an audience with the Deputy Governor General, who on behalf of the government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines extended a warm welcome to the team.

The team expressed appreciation for the staunch support St. Vincent and the Grenadines has given to Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Minister of Health, Luke Browne, emphasized that St. Vincent and the Grenadines cherishes the unbreakable bond between Taiwan and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

He said the comprehensive cooperation and exchanges between Changhua Christian Hospital and the Milton Cato Memorial hospital is one of the core components for the continued strengthening of the bilateral relations.

Not only does St. Vincent and the Grenadines welcome the team to visit again, but the government promises to support Taiwan’s bid to the World Health Assembly (WHA).

The team is scheduled to leave on August 11.
