A ceremony will be held this afternoon for the handing over of a coast guard vessel from the United States, to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The handing over ceremony takes place from 1:30pm at the Coast Guard Base at Villa.
Remarks will come from Commissioner of Police, Colin John, and Ms. Linda Taglialatela, US Ambassador for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.
Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will deliver the feature address.
