The Government Printery of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has upgraded its printing equipment by installation of some advanced machine at the end of August 2018.
The new printing equipment includes an industrial high speed colour printer, industrial Black and White/colour printers, commercial colour printer/copier, industrial twin head stapling machine and other items.
The Government Printery plays a central role in the efficient operation of the Government service. It is responsible for supplying all government departments and ministries with high quality documents, sometimes within a very strict timeframe.
Therefore, in order to improve the services, the government launched a phased upgrade project of the Government Printery under the Civic Development Programme – the annual bilateral cooperation programme between the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
In recognizing the importance of the upgraded project, the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) allocated a total amount of EC$500,000 to fund it.
