Students and staff of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) will have an opportunity this week to meet with and hear from the two main political parties here concerning their policies for the next five years.

A release from the SVGCC says that as the date for the next General Elections draws near, the Community College wishes to play its part in lifting the political discourse in our country, hence it is organising an opportunity for the College Community to hear from the leaders and ask questions of them.

This event is scheduled for Thursday December 3rd, 2015 at the Villa campus of the College and will be done in two phases.

The first phase will begin at 11:15am and will feature the political leader of the New Democratic Party, Hon. Arnhim Eustace, while, the second phase will begin at 1:00pm and will feature the political leader of the Unity Labour Party, Hon. Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.

Each phase is scheduled to last for about one hour and fifteen minutes and will feature a presentation by the leader for no more than 30 minutes followed by a question and answer period for no more than 45 minutes.
