St. Vincent and the Grenadines is among other members of the Caribbean, commended for working together, in order to enhance the security of the sub-region.
The commendation came from Lieutenant General, Mike Plen – Military Deputy Commander of the US South command, (SOUTHCOM) during a meeting of the council of ministers of the Regional Security System (RSS), held here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines last week.
During his remarks at the opening session, General Plen said the RSS has proved to be an effective mechanism towards ensuring the security of the region.
