The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Christian Council will be hosting a Theological Reflection and Panel Discussion on the ‘Cause and effect of crime and violence in St. Vincent and the Grenadines: A search for common solutions.’

It will take place on Thursday October 29th from 6:30pm at the Methodist Church Hall and Community Building in Kingstown.

Bishop Jason Gordon of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kingstown will lead the presentation which will be followed by a Panel Discussion.

The Panelist will include Dr. Karen Providence of the Mental Health Hospital; Mr. Julian Jack, Barrister at Law; Bishop Sonny Williams of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies;  and Superintendent of Police, Kamecia Blake-Byam.

A release from the organizers says the primary objective of this forum is to examine the nature, causes, and consequences of crime and violence in our society, with the aim of assisting in prevention and reduction.
