The Department of State and USAID are at the forefront of efforts across the government to advance U.S. interests by engaging with the Caribbean on security, diplomacy, prosperity, energy, education, and health.

The U.S. Department of State delivered to Congress its U.S – Caribbean 2020 report on July 23, 2019, which describes these successes.

The Report to Congress on Progress of Public Law – Efforts to Implement the Strategy for U.S. Engagement with the Caribbean Region reflects the United States Government’s deepening engagement with the region over the last two years.

Activities occurred under the U.S.-Caribbean 2020 Engagement Strategy and the U.S.-Caribbean Strategic Engagement Act.
