MISS St. Vincent and the Grenadines, De Yonte Mayers was crowned MISS CARIVAL 2015 early Saturday morning, following the 30thstaging of the pageant on Friday night.
Mayers won the swimwear, talent and evening gown segments of the pageant on her way to being crowned. She was also awarded for being MISS Photogenic.
Her success in winning the regional pageant ends a six year period, during which the pageant was not won by a Vincentian.
First Runner-Up in the MISS Carival 2015 pageant went to Miss Dominica Odessa Elie, who also won the Best interview segment.
MISS Barbados- Heidi Barrow was adjudged Second Runner-up. She also won the award for MISS Congeniality.
The award for Most Community Spirited went to MISS Guyana- Alicia Bess.
