St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited wishes to advise the public that the Fuel Surcharge Rate applicable on electricity bills for the month of August is 33.54 cents per unit.
During the month of July, the cost of diesel used for the generation of electricity was 4 million dollars when compared to a cost of 4.2 million dollars in June. Electricity production at the Company’s Hydro Plants amounted to 8.74 % of total electricity generation, a slight increase from the previous month.
