Stroke maker Shai Hope believes West Indies can turn the page on their nightmare Test series against Bangladesh with a good showing in the upcoming one-day series but says the Caribbean side will have to show more consistency.

The Windies suffered an embarrassing 2-NIL whitewash in the Test series last weekend, with neither match going beyond three days.

They face Bangladesh in the opening ODI on Sunday with Hope pointing out that the batsmen needed to take more responsibility, despite the spin-friendly nature of the pitches.

Meanwhile, as the Guyana Jaguars embark on their quest for a record-levelling fifth consecutive Cricket West Indies Regional Four-Day title, consistency and continued domination are the key focus points for the defending champions.

The Jaguars, who will be taking on Windward Islands Volcanoes at the Darren Sammy Stadium today from 2 pm in the tournament’s opener have set their bar high.
