The Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2017 and the Economic Diversification Loan Authorisation (No.2) (Amendment) Bill, 2017 are among seven Bills that will receive their first reading when Parliament convenes next Tuesday June 6, 2017.
The other pieces of legislation includes the Immigration (Restriction) (Amendment) Bill, 2017; Anti-Terrorist Financing and Proliferation (Amendment) Bill, 2017; ECCB Harmonised Credit Reporting Bill, 2017; Eastern Caribbean Partial Credit Guarantee Corporation Agreement Bill, 2017 and the Vincy Table Tennis Foundation Incorporation Bill, 2017.
The Order Paper also contains a Motion on Transportation of School Children to be moved by the Honourable Senator Carlos James and seconded by the Honourable Senator Deborah Charles.
There are sixteen questions listed by the Opposition new Democratic Party (NDP) for oral answers.
