The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard along with its regional counterparts and other agencies is continuing the search for a missing speed boat with six people on board.

The boat was reportedly moving between the Grenadine islands of Mustique and Canouan on the afternoon of Sunday June 4, 2017, when it began taking in water and sinking.

The six persons who are missing have been identified as Claudia Williams, Charmain De Souza, Nedd De Souza, Montgomery Hazell, Jose-Ann John and Sharon Simmons.

According to reports, all of the missing are employed on Mustique.

Speaking on STAR FM earlier today Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said he is deeply saddened at the situation.
