Residents of Barrouallie are now benefitting from a Washroom facility – at a cost of 1 Million EC dollars.

The facility funded by the Basic Needs Trust Fund, was officially launched at Bottle and Glass Barrouallie last Thursday January 18th, 2019 and is expected to eliminate the existing problem of poor sanitation in the community.

Addressing the opening ceremony were the Director of the Basic Needs Trust Fund Dunstan Johnson and Minister of Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment the Hon. Luke Browne, who both said that the washroom facility supports the United Nations Millennium Development Goal number seven, which addresses improved sustainable environment by the year 2020.
