Public Servants throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines have been commended for their hard work and dedication.

The commendation was made by Acting Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sir Louis Straker, in a message to mark Public service day 2019.

Yesterday St. Vincent and the Grenadines joined with the Global Community, in celebrating World Public Service day, designated by the United Nations General Assembly on March 7 2003.

Sir Louis said this country’s Government remains committed towards supporting all employees.

World Public Service day is observed annually on June 23rd with the main objective of celebrating the value and virtue of public service to the community and for contributions made to the cause of enhancing the role, prestige, and visibility of public service.
