Her Excellency Tsai Ing-wen, President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is expected to hold talks with Prime Minister Dr. the Honorable Ralph Gonsalves tomorrow July 16 which will commence her two-day state visit to the country.

Her Excellency will also meet with representatives of “Taiwan MOFA Alumni Association” and the 2019 “Taiwan Scholarship” Recipients.

While in the country, Her Excellency will attend a Special Sitting of Parliament at the House of Assembly and visit the St. Vincent Botanical Gardens for a tour and tree planting ceremony.

In honour of the President’s visit and the long standing relationship between both countries – an Achievement Exhibition of the Technical Cooperation will be held at the National Public Library.

In addition a free cultural showcase will be put on by the Formosa Circus Art at the Victoria Park on the 16th at 6 p.m. and July 17th at 5:00 p.m.
