As we enter the final five days of celebrations of Vincy Mas 2018 – Commissioner of Police, Colin John, is assuring the Vincentian public that the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force will be doing all within the power that is vested in it to provide a safe and secure environment for all revellers to partake in and enjoy Vincy Mas.

The Commissioner of Police said in a statement that he has directed the deployment of Police Officers to patrol the streets of Kingstown, its immediate environs and in communities throughout the country with the sole aim of maintaining law and order as we celebrate this nation’s largest festival.

Commissioner John said it is his hope that as persons enjoy themselves during these celebrations, they will be responsible individuals and respect the laws of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

He added that “If you are violated in any way, please report the matter to the police for redress; do not take the law into your own hands and retaliate.”

According to the Police Commissioner, Police officers will be out in droves everywhere and will be more than eager to assist you.
