Local Police authorities are investigating the shooting death of 22 year old Tevin Williams, who was shot and killed in Kingstown last night.

A Police report says Williams died on the spot after a masked assailant shot him in the neck around 8 p.m., while he was hanging out with friends under the Melville Street gallery of Ace Hardware.

Williams death brings the number of murders so far for 2019 to 12.

Meanwhile, police have arrested and charged Lesroy Richardson, a 36 years old Contractor of Mt. Pleasant, Mesopotamia with the offences of Wounding and Unlicensed Firearm and Ammunition Possession on 08.09.19.

According to investigations, Richardson allegedly shot a 42-year-old Resident of the same address on her right leg with a gun.

The accused was subsequently met by police in possession of one round of 12-gauge ammunition, and one black Mossdery 12-gauge shot gun without licenses – issued under the Firearms Act.

Richardson was also charged for having one 12 gauge shot gun for the purpose of endangering the life of the 42-year-old Resident of Mt. Pleasant, Mesopotamia.

He is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court for an arraignment.
